MI-Sky User Group Membership
General Membership
General Membership status requires a General Membership Application to be completed and mailed to the MSUG Secretary (Secretary information is included on the application). Each Skyward customer is permitted 4 representatives (2 Student and 2 Business) and anyone seeking to be a General Member must go through the application process.
Each member in this organization must be an employee of a local school district, a public school academy, a private school, or an intermediate school district that utilizes the Skyward School Management System software and is located in Michigan.
Membership duties include:
Attendance at the MSUG Conference and meetings.
Attendance during General Meetings, whether in person, or virtually
General Members are expected to attend at least three (3) times per year, whether in person or virtually.

Trustee Membership
You must be a General Member in order to apply for a Trustee position. Trustees are appointed to the Steering Committee based on the number of years the customer has utilized the software, the order in which the application was received, and with the intent to maintain a balance between the two core products - Student and Business.
Membership duties include:
Attendance at the MSUG Conference and meetings
Assisting officers as needed during the annual MSUG conference
Trustees are expected to attend at least four (4) meetings per year, whether in person or virtually
Trustees are also part of the Steering Committee and are eligible to run for any office during the election periods
